Larissa Phillips

Larissa Phillips serves as Assistant Director at The Center for Reading Science and Contributing Faculty in the School of Education at Mount St. Joseph University, leveraging 18 years of K-12 public education experience to bridge theory and classroom practice.

• Ed.D. in Reading Science (Doctoral Candidate, Cohort 2) from Mount St. Joseph University

Phillips specializes in evidence-based reading instruction for struggling learners, with deep expertise in Orton-Gillingham methodology adaptation, MTSS framework implementation, and data-driven achievement gap reduction.
