Jennifer Naegele

Jennifer Naegele serves as Clinical Faculty in the Reading Science Program at Mount St. Joseph University's School of Education, where she trains graduate students in reading research applications and provides district-level coaching through the Center for Reading Science.

Her professional focus centers on evidence-based literacy instruction, with specialized expertise in dyslexia intervention through Orton-Gillingham methodologies. As a certified Orton-Gillingham practitioner since 2012, she bridges research and practice in K-8 educational settings, emphasizing teacher coaching and administrator support. Her work integrates early childhood education principles from her Montessori teaching background with contemporary reading science.

Prior to her university role, she served as Literacy Coach and Reading Specialist in Cincinnati's urban school district, delivering direct student interventions and staff development. She also contributed to the Cincinnati Children's Dyslexia Center through specialized tutoring services.
