Larichev Alexander Alekseevich

Alexander Alekseevich Larichev serves as Deputy Dean for Research at the Faculty of Law and Professor in the Department of Public Law at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), where he has worked since 2020. With 17 years of scientific and teaching experience, he specializes in constitutional law, public authority, local self-government, and urban law. His academic leadership extends to supervising doctoral candidates and contributing to significant research initiatives.

Dr. Larichev earned his Candidate of Law degree from Ural State Law Academy in 2008 and his Doctor of Law from All-Russian State University of Justice in 2018. His educational background includes a Jurisprudence degree from Petrozavodsk State University (2004). He has participated in numerous international internships, including research stays at Western University in Canada and the University of Southern Denmark.

Professor Larichev's research focuses on the intersection of constitutional law, public authority, and urban governance. His work examines the evolution of local self-government, the development of smart city technologies, and the relationship between law and ethics. He has made significant contributions to understanding how local communities can resolve urban conflicts and strengthen municipal democracy.

His recent publications demonstrate a clear trend toward examining the digital transformation of public governance, with particular attention to remote voting systems, smart city technologies, and the ethical dimensions of legal frameworks. These works reflect his commitment to addressing contemporary challenges in public law through interdisciplinary approaches.
