Lanna Felde

Lanna Felde, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and serves as Faculty Development Director in the Division of Hospital Medicine. She completed her bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Texas at Austin, medical degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a master’s in public health at UT Health Science Center in Houston. Her academic interests focus on faculty development, mentorship, and leveraging digital media for medical education.

Her research emphasizes minority health and health disparities, informed by her undergraduate studies in Mexico. She directs the hospital medicine elective for internal medicine residents and has published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Felde also serves as an ad hoc reviewer for the Journal of Hospital Medicine and British Medical Journal.
