Landa Terblanche is an Associate Professor of Nursing at Trinity Western University's School of Nursing. She holds a PhD in Nursing from Potchefstroom University (South Africa), along with a Master of Science in Nursing and a Diploma in Nursing Education/Administration from South African institutions. Her career spans over four decades in nursing education and administration, with a focus on clinical education and the transition of student nurses into professional roles. She also specializes in maternal-child nursing and psychiatric-mental health nursing.

Key awards include the Davis Distinguished Teaching Award from Trinity Western University. Her research explores themes such as nursing student identity formation, spirituality in healthcare, and ethics in pluralistic healthcare settings.
Advising and grants highlight her role as a co-investigator on projects like the TWU Diabetes Research Fund initiative (2005–2008).
