Lance Vanderberg serves as Assistant Director of the Academic Enrichment Center & Coordinator of Academic Success at Taylor University, where he has worked as a faculty member since 2013. He functions as both an academic coach and professor, dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential in learning.
His educational background includes:
- PhD in Higher Education, Indiana University
- MA in Higher Education & Student Development, Taylor University
- BS in Social Studies Education, Taylor University
Dr. Vanderberg's research centers on student retention dynamics and academic support systems in higher education. His 2024 dissertation examined financial aid impacts on freshman persistence, while his 2013 master's thesis investigated student perceptions of academic support services. These works demonstrate his commitment to evidence-based approaches for improving student success metrics.
