Lance Miller is a Senior Sound/Video Recording Engineer and Researcher at the University of Oregon's School of Music and Dance, where he joined the staff in 1998 and became faculty in 2009. He directs the UO SOMD Recording Facilities and co-founded the Audio Production & Technology (APT) program, which will offer a degree in Popular Music Studies starting Fall 2024.
As a composer, Miller produces electronic, rock, film scores, and contemporary music, with two albums released on Perfect Records. His engineering work has been distributed globally by labels such as Naxos, Koch, Innova, and SubPop, and he co-owns Galahad Productions with his wife Holly, focusing on graphic design and audio production.
