Lance Jones is a Practice Professor and Unit Assessor in the Faculty of Business, Law and Arts at Southern Cross University. He holds roles such as Teaching Associate, Invigilator, and Casual Academic (Teaching). His expertise spans legal practice management, international business law, stock exchange law, and mental health/disability law. He maintains a legal practice (Jones Elferink) and is an accredited Independent Children's Lawyer, listed on the SA Mental Health Appeals Panel.
Education: AssocDip Social Work (UniSA), BA (UNE), LLB (UNE), GradCert OutdoorEd (UniSA), LLM (ANU). He has taught globally, including as Visiting International Professor at UNIFA (Haiti) and IIM Rohtak (India).
Research interests focus on legal education, mental health law, and international commercial law. His documentary ANZAC For Schools and legal practice areas in family, criminal, and employment law reflect his multidisciplinary engagement.
Professional affiliations include the Indian Institute of Management Rohtak (visiting faculty) and COMREC Australia Pty Ltd (founder). He also pursues acting and music, featuring in theatrical productions like Phantom of the Opera and films.
