Lamanna Jacopo

Lamanna Jacopo is an Associate Professor of Physiology at the Faculty of Psychology, Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. He holds a PhD in Bioengineering from Politecnico di Milano (2013) and has been teaching at UNISR since 2016, coordinating courses such as 'Neurobiology of Learning and Memory' and 'Elements of Anatomy and Physiology of the Nervous System.'

His research focuses on the physiological bases of synaptic transmission and plasticity, innovative methods for measuring neuronal communication in vivo, and the role of neuroplasticity in mental disorders and animal behavior. He has contributed to advancing understanding in systems neuroscience, epigenetic mechanisms in depression, and non-invasive brain stimulation applications.
