Lam D Nguyen

Dr. Lam D. Nguyen serves as tenured Professor and Chair of the Department of Management within the Zeigler College of Business at Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania (Bloomsburg, Lock Haven, and Mansfield campuses). He concurrently holds a Research Fellow position at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and has served as Visiting Professor at Webster University Thailand. His institutional affiliations include editorial board membership for the International Journal of Public Administration and active roles in Beta Gamma Sigma and Society for Advancement of Management.

Dr. Nguyen's educational background includes a Doctor of Management (D.Mgt.) and MBA with International Business emphasis from Webster University, complemented by dual B.S. degrees from Ha Noi University of Foreign Studies and University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. His research spans leadership, ethics, strategic management, entrepreneurship, public administration, and cross-cultural management, with significant focus on Vietnamese and Asian contexts.

His publication portfolio reveals strong trends in Vietnamese organizational behavior (22 articles), cross-cultural leadership comparisons (9 articles), and public sector management (7 articles), frequently employing mediation analysis in transition economies. Recent work increasingly integrates fintech, pandemic impacts, and global value chain dynamics.
