Laleh Mehran

Laleh Mehran is a Professor in the Department of Art at The Ohio State University's College of Arts and Sciences, specializing in Art & Technology. She creates intricate digital and physical environments exploring intersections of politics, religion, and science. Her research utilizes scientific frameworks to address cultural intolerance through veiled yet explicit artistic mediations.

Mehran holds an MFA in Electronic Time-Based Media from Carnegie Mellon University. Her work has been exhibited globally at prestigious venues including the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, Denver Art Museum, and National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.
