Dr. Lakshmi Krishnan is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology within the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa. Concurrently, she serves as the Director General of the National Research Council of Canada (NRC)'s Human Health Therapeutics Research Centre, leading initiatives in infectious diseases and cancer therapeutics.

Dr. Krishnan's research focuses on vaccine adjuvant development, host-pathogen interactions, and immunotherapy.
