Laila Zackariasson is Professor of Civil Law at the Department of Law, Uppsala University, a position she has held since 2011. She is a leading authority in Swedish civil law, with particular expertise in property law, insolvency law, and contract law.

Her work often explores complex legal mechanisms such as direct claims, creditor protection, and property rights in both movable and immovable assets.
