Kätlin Anni is a Research Fellow in Welfare Research and Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at the University of Tartu’s Institute of Psychology (Faculty of Social Sciences). She holds a Doctor’s Degree in Psychology from the same institution (2024), focusing on intelligence, personality, and socioeconomic outcomes in Estonia. Her research spans clinical psychology, personality psychology, and psychometric assessment.
- Current roles: 0.50 FTE Research Fellow in Welfare Research & 0.50 FTE Lecturer in Clinical Psychology (since May 2025)
- Prior roles include Junior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology (2021–2024) and clinical psychologist at Tartu University Hospital (2014–2019)
Research interests focus on personality-environment interactions, intelligence correlates, and psychometric validation of clinical instruments. She has led projects like the Estonian Center of Excellence in Well-Being Sciences (2024–2030) and contributed to studies on early psychosis detection and social mobility.
Recent work includes a 2025 Editor’s Choice article in the Journal of Applied Psychology analyzing personality profiles across occupations. Her research integrates psychological theory with large-scale biobank data for well-being studies.
