Kyriaki Messiou

Professor Kyriaki Messiou holds the position of Professor of Education at the Southampton Education School, University of Southampton. She served as Director of Research and Deputy Head of School from 2019 to 2022. Her work focuses on inclusive education, particularly amplifying children’s and young people’s voices to address marginalization in schools. Key research areas include student-teacher dialogues, intercultural mentoring for migrant students, and participatory methodologies.
