Dr. Kylie Rogalla is an Assistant Professor in the Counseling and Human Services department at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs' College of Education. She holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education & Supervision from the University of Northern Colorado, with minors in Higher Education Leadership and Applied Statistics. Her professional credentials include Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC), and EMDR therapy training.
Her research focuses on trauma counseling, ethical decision-making, group therapy, school counseling interventions, and innovative therapeutic approaches including animal-assisted therapy. She teaches courses including Crisis & Trauma Counseling, Measurement & Appraisal, Group Counseling, and Practicum/Internship in School Counseling.
Dr. Rogalla has received the 2024 Outstanding Faculty Mentorship Award and maintains active service roles including co-advisor for Chi Sigma Iota and member of the Technology Committee. She participates in community initiatives such as the Anam Cara Stables board and Whole Women's Health Alliance advocacy.
