Kylie Porritt

Dr. Kylie Porritt is a Grant-Funded Researcher (C) at the University of Adelaide's School of Public Health, affiliated with the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI). She serves as Director of the Transfer Science Division at JBI and Editor-in-Chief of the JBI EBP Database. Her work focuses on advancing evidence-based healthcare methodologies, particularly in qualitative research synthesis and implementation science.

Research Interests: Dr. Porritt specializes in systematic review methodology, including qualitative findings aggregation (meta-aggregation) and confidence assessment (ConQual). She also explores evidence implementation strategies, healthcare policy, and improving clinical decision-making through rigorous evidence-based resources.

Key Contributions: She has developed frameworks for synthesizing qualitative evidence and contributed to the JBI's Evidence-Based Clinical Fellowship Program, fostering organizational culture change in healthcare. Her work emphasizes equity, diversity, and inclusion in research practices.
