Kylie Barnes

Kylie Barnes is Clinical Professor and Director of Applied Skills and OSCE Implementation at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from St. Louis College of Pharmacy and completed residencies at SSM St. Mary's Health Center with specialization in ambulatory care and women's health. Barnes is board-certified in pharmacotherapy.

Her research focuses on women's health including pregnancy/lactation pharmacology, vulvovaginal atrophy treatments, and postpartum depression management. She leads curricular innovations in OSCE implementation and pharmacotherapy education while teaching in applied skills laboratories. Barnes has published extensively on contraception education, implicit bias in clinical decision-making, and hormonal therapies.
