Kyle Shanachilubwa is a Ph.D. Student in the Department of Engineering Education at the University of Georgia, affiliated with the College of Engineering and advised by Dr. James Huff. He previously earned a bachelor's degree in computer science with a minor in mathematics from Harding University, graduating with distinction from the Honors College.
His undergraduate thesis focused on the experiences of computer science and engineering students in their interactions with faculty. Kyle is a two-time McNair Scholar and a member of the Beyond Professional Identity (BPI) group led by Dr. James Huff.
Research interests include engineering student experiences, professional identity formation, and the impact of faculty-student dynamics on academic engagement. He actively participates in EETI programs and explores educational development initiatives at UGA.
