Kun Yao, Ph.D., is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Georgia (UGA) and serves as the manager of the cleanroom core facility. He joined UGA in 2013 after completing postdoctoral research at the University of New Orleans and UGA. His academic background includes a B.S. and Ph.D. in physical electronics from Peking University, Beijing, China (2002 and 2008, respectively).
Dr. Yao’s work focuses on advancing solar energy efficiency and materials science, leveraging his expertise in nanotechnology.
