Kyle M. Hurth

Kyle M. Hurth, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pathology at the University of Southern California (USC) and serves as the Medical Director of the Immunohistochemistry Laboratory. His academic work focuses on neuro-oncology, neuropathology, and medical imaging applications in neurological disorders.

Research interests include:

• Neurosurgical outcomes and meningioma consistency analysis
• Alzheimer's disease synaptic pathology and cPLA2 activation
• Pituitary adenoma classification via transcription factor lineage
• Neuro-infectious disease diagnostics (e.g., Balamuthia encephalitis)
• Glioblastoma microenvironment characterization using advanced proteomic techniques
