Kyle Guay serves as an Instructor in Kinesiology at Capilano University's School of Kinesiology, where he teaches in the same institution where he once completed his Human Kinetics diploma. As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2008, he brings practical experience to his academic role, bridging theory and practice for students pursuing careers in human kinetics and related fields.

- Bachelor of Human Kinetics (BHK) from the University of British Columbia (2010)
- Diploma in Human Kinetics from Capilano University (2008)
Guay's research and teaching interests focus on the intersection of human performance, injury prevention, and strength conditioning. He emphasizes how physical activity positively impacts the human body and believes in growing the field of human kinetics to showcase benefits at both individual and community levels. His professional experience includes working as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist with both elite and recreational athletes, putting theory into practice. Outside of academia, Guay is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping, hiking, and trail running, and has recently begun competing in ultra trail running races, which further informs his first-hand experience in human performance.
