Kyle Crowder is the Department Chair and Blumstein-Jordan Professor of Sociology at the University of Washington. His primary affiliation is the Department of Sociology within the College of Arts & Sciences. He holds a PhD from the State University of New York at Albany (1997) and a BA from the University of Washington (1990). His research focuses on residential segregation, environmental inequality, urban sociology, and health disparities. He has held leadership roles including Director of Graduate Studies and Scientific Core Director at the Center for Studies in Demography and Ecology.
