Kyaien O. Conner is a Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, holding the Donald M. Henderson Endowed Chair, directing the Center on Race and Social Problems, and serving as Associate Dean for Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. Her work focuses on racial health disparities and culturally adapted interventions.
- Education: BS in Psychology, MSW, MPH (Minority Health and Health Disparities), PhD in Social Work (University of Pittsburgh)
Research Interests: Dr. Conner investigates factors influencing racial and ethnic disparities in health and mental health service utilization. Her expertise spans culturally meaningful behavioral health interventions, community-engaged research, and policy development for health equity.

Grants and Policy Leadership: She leads a PCORI-funded transitions-in-care intervention study and co-investigates an NIMH multi-site depression intervention trial. She authored Florida Senate Bill 404 (2021), restructuring the Florida State Office of Minority Health and Health Equity.
