Kwok Ng is a Visiting Researcher at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) and holds a Docent title in Health Promotion and Adapted Physical Activity, with dual affiliation to the University of Limerick. He is affiliated with the Institute of Public Health and Clinical Nutrition within the School of Medicine at UEF's Faculty of Health Sciences. His research focuses on physical activity promotion for children and adolescents with disabilities, inclusive education practices, and global health policy analysis.
Ng's work spans multiple countries, including Finland, Ireland, Poland, and Israel, emphasizing cross-cultural studies on disability inclusion in physical education and sports. He collaborates with international organizations like the Health Behavior in School-Aged Children (HBSC) study and contributes to the Active Healthy Kids Global Alliance's Para Report Cards, which evaluate physical activity levels in children with disabilities globally.
His academic output includes peer-reviewed articles on adapted physical education practices, health disparities among disabled youth, and the impact of digital tools in special education. Ng also investigates the effects of pandemics on physical activity and mental health, with a focus on marginalized populations.
