Kwan Hang Lam

Kwan Hang Lam is a Professor at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) since 2010, concurrently serving as an Honorary Curriculum Consultant at The Chinese University of Hong Kong since 2011. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California, Irvine, and prior academic positions include Assistant Professor roles at Hong Kong Institute of Education and National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan.

His research interests span Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Differential Geometry, and Risk Management. Notable publications include studies on hedging strategies in emerging markets and geometric analysis involving Poincare inequalities and holonomy groups.

• Awards: UC Regent's Fellowship (2002–2005), Dissertation Fellowship (2007), and multiple academic honors from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Prior teaching roles include instructorships at UC Irvine and teaching assistant positions at both UC Irvine and The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
