Kumba Conteh is a Doctoral Researcher at Loughborough University’s Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering. She holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone (2009), and an MSc in Sustainable Engineering from Loughborough University (2016), where she began her PhD in 2018. Her research focuses on repurposing components from end-of-use electronics into manufacturing processes. She currently serves as the student representative for the High Value Research Theme, following her role as Programme Representative during her master’s studies.

- Research Interests: Sustainable manufacturing practices, circular economy applications in electronics, and resource optimization strategies.
