Dr. Kumar Sudhir is a Researcher at the Institute for Chemical and Bioengineering (ICB) at ETH Zürich, affiliated with the Professur für Technische Chemie. His work focuses on optoelectronic materials, particularly organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs), and flexible optoelectronics. He holds a PhD from National Tsing Hua University (2010–2014), supported by scholarships from the National Science Council.
Research interests include perovskite nanocrystals, charge transfer mechanisms, and device engineering for high-efficiency lighting and displays. Key contributions include anisotropic nanocrystal superlattices for enhanced light outcoupling and machine learning-driven polymer platform development. He has authored over 40 peer-reviewed papers, patents on OLED technologies, and serves as Associate/Guest Editor for journals like Frontiers in Photonics and Inorganics.
Notable awards include an Outstanding Student Paper Award (2018) and conference travel grants. His work bridges materials synthesis, device fabrication, and computational modeling to advance energy-efficient optoelectronic systems.
