Dr. Ksenia Kirkham serves as a Lecturer in Economic Warfare within the Department of War Studies at King's College London. Her interdisciplinary research examines the political economy of sanctions, economic security, and global supply chain vulnerabilities.
Kirkham's research interests focus on the mechanisms and impacts of economic sanctions, energy security dynamics in Eurasia, and the intersection of economic policy with sustainable development. She investigates how sanctions affect global supply chains, particularly in critical sectors like clean energy technology and resource markets.
Her publications explore diverse aspects of economic statecraft, including comparative analyses of sanctions regimes, examination of their humanitarian consequences, and theoretical frameworks for understanding economic warfare.
