Ksenia Borisova is a doctoral researcher at the Department of History, Seminar for Medieval History, University of Tübingen. She is currently employed in the project "Histories in Transition" since February 2024 and has been a stipendiatin of the Gerda Henkel Foundation for her doctoral project from August 2020 to August 2023. Her academic career includes teaching roles in Latin and History at schools in Moscow (2013–2016) and editorial/translation work for prominent scholars.
- Education: Specialized in Medieval History, Latin, and Paleography at Lomonossow University Moscow (2010–2015); Master's studies in Classical Philology and Ancient Cultures at Russian State University for Humanities (2016–2017).
Her research focuses on medieval European history, particularly the cult of saints in the Irish Church (7th–12th centuries), Latin and Greek paleography, and oral/written cultural practices in antiquity. She has participated in workshops on digital paleography (CLS Infra Training School, 2023) and has expertise in preparing critical editions of medieval texts.
