معرفی
Krzysztof Rojek is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Ethics within the Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. His academic career began at UMCS where he completed his master's degree (2011) and doctoral studies (2017) under the supervision of Dr. Hab. Andrzej Niemczuk. Since 2017, he has been a research and teaching staff member at the same institution.
Rojek's research spans several interconnected areas of philosophy with primary emphasis on:
- Ontology of freedom and metaphysical foundations of free will
- Compatibilist and libertarian approaches to moral responsibility
- Contemporary adaptations of rhetoric and eristics in philosophical discourse
- Axiological investigations in ethics and political philosophy
His scholarly publications demonstrate a consistent focus on free will debates across historical and contemporary contexts, particularly examining thinkers like Spinoza, Leibniz, Kane, Hartmann, and Levinas. Recent work shows growing interest in rhetorical strategies and eristic argumentation within philosophical practice.
Rojek actively participates in academic conferences, having presented over 25 papers at national and international forums since 2013. His most frequent topics include determinism-compatibilism debates, nihilism's impact on freedom, and ethical responsibility in dialogical philosophy.
