Krystal Armstrong

Krystal Armstrong is a Senior Adjunct Instructor in the College of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences at the University of Detroit Mercy, affiliated with the Counseling and Addiction Studies program. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over a decade of clinical experience, she has held leadership roles including Chief Clinical Officer at Harbor Oaks Hospital and currently manages clinical operations while maintaining an outpatient practice.

Her teaching encompasses foundational courses in addiction counseling and behavioral health. She holds an MA in Counseling from Wayne State University and certification in Applied Behavioral Analysis from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Professional practice integrates clinical management with direct patient care in mental health settings.
