Krysia Osostowicz is a Violin Tutor (Strings) and Chamber Music Coach at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama since 1987. She holds dual roles within the Chamber Music and Strings, Harp & Guitar departments. Her career combines performance with education, emphasizing technical foundation, individual sound development, and harmony analysis.
Education includes studies at the Yehudi Menuhin School, Cambridge University, and Salzburg under Sandor Végh. Influences include Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Ferenc Rados, and Radu Lupu.
Research interests focus on integrative teaching methodologies, including the Alexander Technique for body awareness in music-making, and therapeutic practices like yoga and shiatsu. She leads annual courses such as 'Music Embodied!' in Cornwall.
