Krisztina Erdei

Krisztina Erdei is an Assistant Professor at Partium Christian University's Faculty of Letters and Arts within the Department of Arts, while concurrently conducting doctoral research in art history at Loránd Eötvös University, Budapest. She contributes to public discourse as editor of amu.hvg.hu online contemporary art magazine and art critic for Magyar Narancs newspaper.

• Philosophy and Political Studies degree from University of Szeged
• Doctoral studies in Multimedia Art at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design with dissertation titled Struggle for Your Story, Memory Studies and Contemporary Art in the 21st Century

Research Interests

Erdei's scholarly focus centers on Memory Studies and Contemporary Art, analyzing narrative construction and historical memory through multimedia art in the 21st century. Her interests have expanded into Visual Culture and Interdisciplinary Art Practices, reflecting continuous evolution in examining identity, collective memory, and artistic expression. Current doctoral work in art history demonstrates ongoing engagement with theoretical frameworks bridging artistic practice and cultural studies.
