Kristy Boney

Kristy Boney is an Associate Professor in the Department of Modern Languages and Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Central Missouri's College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. She teaches German language and literature at all levels, as well as courses in Gender and Women Studies. Her academic work focuses on comparative modernism and comics studies.

• Ph.D. in German Language and Literature from The Ohio State University
• Co-editor of "Dimensions in Storytelling in German Literature and Beyond: For once, telling it all from the beginning"
• Serves as Modern Languages coordinator and German division program head

Dr. Boney's research bridges German literature with interdisciplinary approaches to storytelling and visual narratives. She has been actively involved in institutional academic leadership since joining UCM in 2009.
