Kristofer Leslie

Kristofer Leslie is a Senior Lecturer and Academic Lead for Year 1 at the Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS). He teaches first-year biosciences and third-year bioinformatics/biochemistry, with courses linked to Biomolecular Science and Chemistry for Drug Discovery programmes. His office is located in Becket (Bf31), Canterbury.

Research Focus: Dr. Leslie investigates structural mechanisms in biology and chemistry, including:

• Microtubule interactions and structural biology
• Lectin-mediated processes and glycobiology
• Computational quantum chemistry for molecular interactions
• Theoretical protein modeling/simulation
• Molecular targets for drug therapies
