Kristine Tullo is an Instructor II in the Department of Language & Literature at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). She holds an MA in English from FGCU and a BA in English from the University of Central Florida. Her teaching and research focus on First-Year Writing and Rhetoric, Creative Writing Pedagogy, Academic Freedom, and the ethical integration of AI in education. She specializes in composition, professional writing, and literature/film studies.
- Research interests include narrative medicine, visual literacy through comics, and student-centered pedagogies.
- Active presenter at conferences like the College English Association and Florida College English Association, addressing topics such as hybrid teaching, AI ethics, and mental health in creative writing classrooms.
