Dr. Kristina Saunders is a Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Glasgow, affiliated with the School of Health & Wellbeing. She holds an MRes (2014) and MA (2013) in Sociology, both from the University of Glasgow, and completed her PhD in Sociology there in 2019. Her research focuses on gender, reproduction, class relationships, feminist theory, social theory, and qualitative methods. She has contributed to studies on reproductive health, including contraceptive practices and domestic violence during the pandemic. Saunders has taught courses in gender studies, qualitative methods, and sociology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is a member of the Sociology research group and has been involved in projects like the ESRC Families, Relationships, and Demographic Change Pathway grant. Her work bridges sociological inquiry with practical health policy issues.
