Kristina Grasto

Kristina Grasto is a College Lecturer in the Department of Nursing, Health and Bioengineering at Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing (2007–2010) and is pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Nursing with a focus on Nurse Anesthesia. Her professional background includes roles in orthopedics, emergency medicine, and anesthesia nursing, with specialized experience in pediatric, ERAS, gynecological, and orthopedic anesthesia care.

Academically, Grasto is involved in the Master’s program in clinical anesthesia nursing, teaching the course HOVMANE40421 Anesthesia Nursing 2. She focuses on skills training, simulation, and interprofessional education. She has served as a board member (2017–2020) and current local group leader (2020–present) of the Anesthesiology Nurses NSF Østfold, emphasizing professional development and collaboration.

Her research interests center on simulation-based training, interprofessional collaboration in healthcare, and improving emergency response competencies. Recent publications explore the impact of in situ simulation on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) competence.
