Dr. Kristin Schotte is a Research Scientist at the Department of Education and Integration and the Institute of Educational Sciences, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. She holds a doctoral degree (Dr. phil.) in Educational Sciences from the same institution. Her research focuses on educational success, psychosocial adaptation of immigrant-origin youth, cultural identity, and experiences of discrimination in schools. She has been affiliated with the Berlin Institute for Empirical Research on Integration and Migration (BIM) since 2014, collaborating on projects like the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS) and initiatives addressing language proficiency's role in social integration.
