Kristin Rotte is a Sessional Lecturer in the Marketing and Behavioural Science Division at the UBC Sauder School of Business. She holds a BSBA from Xavier University and a Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati. With over 15 years in marketing, her expertise spans customer satisfaction, migration, and real estate-marketing intersections. Prior to UBC, she was a Senior Lecturer at the Australian School of Business, leading the nation-wide MBA Executive program's Marketing Principles course.
Her teaching focuses on applied marketing, offering students real-world client experiences through courses like COMM 468 and Urban Resilience. She advises masters-level teams tackling global urban challenges. Research highlights include awards for her dissertation on customer migration. Beyond academia, she volunteers in schools, coaches soccer, and is an active curler with the Vancouver Curling Club.
Publications emphasize consumer loyalty and trust dynamics, appearing in journals like the Journal of Marketing Research and Journal of Consumer Psychology. Her 2005 work on the JUMP model explores consumer judgment frameworks.
