Kristin Rich

Dr. Kristin Rich is an Associate Professor of Education and Director of Field Experience & Student Teaching at Cornerstone University’s School of Education & Human Services. She holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from George Fox University, an M.A. from Hollins University, and a B.S. from Crown College. Her career spans K-12 teaching (six years in public schools and five in Christian education) before transitioning to higher education.

Her research focuses on preparing educators to address both academic and spiritual student needs. A notable publication, Trust and Feedback in a Student Teaching Support System, explores mechanisms for effective teacher training. She emphasizes fostering educators who integrate belief systems into pedagogy to meet holistic student needs.

Dr. Rich has contributed to institutional milestones, including CAEP accreditation for Cornerstone’s Teacher Education Division and recognition of its Early Reading Program. Her roles involve overseeing field experiences and student teaching programs, ensuring future educators are well-equipped pedagogically and ethically.
