Kristin Michel is a Professor in the Division of Biology at Kansas State University, where she has been on faculty since 2007. Her research focuses on mosquito immunology, host-pathogen interactions, and vector biology, aiming to understand how mosquito immune systems influence malaria transmission and fungal biocontrol strategies.
