معرفی
Kristin Kirchner is an Assistant Professor at Delft University of Technology in the Delft Institute of Applied Mathematics and holds a concurrent position at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in the Division of Numerical Analysis, Optimization and Systems Theory.
Her research centers on Uncertainty Quantification, Stochastic Partial Differential Equations, and Fractional Order Equations, with emphasis on numerical methods for PDEs with random coefficients and applications in computational finance and statistics. She develops computational frameworks for spatiotemporal statistical modeling and functional calculus in high-dimensional settings.
Major scientific awards include:
- ERC Starting Grant for "FunCalc4Stats - Functional Calculus for Computational Statistics"
- VENI fellowship from NWO for "Efficient spatiotemporal statistical modelling with stochastic PDEs" (2022-2026)
Her research is supported by significant European and Dutch funding, with professional profiles maintained on Google Scholar, ORCiD, and ResearchGate.
