Kristin De Troyer is a full-time Professor of Old Testament/Hebrew Bible at the University of Salzburg within the Faculty of Catholic Theology, Department of Biblical Studies and Church History. She is internationally recognized for her expertise in Septuagint studies and textual history of the Hebrew Bible.

Recent projects include the Biblical Online Synopsis Salzburg (BOSS 1.0), which digitizes comparative biblical texts.
