Kristijan Radmanović is an Assistant Professor at the University of Zagreb's Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology, Department of Wood Technology. He specializes in mechanical and thermal properties of wood materials, with a focus on material processing via shaving separation and biomass pelletization. His work involves analyzing wood's behavior under thermal and mechanical stresses, optimizing pellet production processes, and improving wood joint technologies.
Professional Experience:
- 2009 – current: Assistant Professor at University of Zagreb
- 2007 - 2009: Teacher at First Gymnasium Zagreb
- 2006 - 2007: Teacher at Primary School Samobor
Research Interests:
- Mechanical and thermal properties of wood materials
- Biomass pelletization processes
- Thermal pre-treatment of woody biomass
- Wood joint mechanics and rotary welding
- Material response to environmental exposure
Publications: His recent work focuses on optimizing pellet production parameters, analyzing wood's mechanical behavior under varying conditions, and improving rotary welding techniques. Key themes include moisture content effects on energy properties, sample size impacts on compressive testing, and microclimatic influences on pellet durability.
