Kristiana Roth is an Assistant Professor at FH Wels, affiliated with the Center of Excellence in Food Technology and Nutrition. Her research focuses on Design Thinking, Agile Development, and Innovation Management, with a particular emphasis on Digital Transformation and Product-Service Systems. She holds an MSc and a Dr. rer. pol. (Political Science Doctorate).
Her work explores topics like dynamic managerial capabilities, agile transformation in mechatronic systems, and the application of design methodologies in aviation and innovation challenges. She has conducted quasi-experimental field studies and developed frameworks for integrating agile approaches into product-service systems.
Key projects include BF-APPSDe (agile product-service system design) and Art:enreich (structured design processes). She actively presents at academic conferences, discussing wicked problems in education, IoT implementation in SMEs, and the impact of design thinking on project success. Her 16 research outputs span articles and conference papers, with a focus on innovation management and systemic challenges.
