Dr. Kristian Humble serves as Associate Professor in Law at the University of Greenwich's School of Law and Criminology. With qualifications including BA (Hons), LLM, PGCert and Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), Humble's career includes previous academic appointments at the University of Reading and University of Stellenbosch, as well as professional roles with Lawyers for Human Rights and Amnesty International.
His research examines human rights implications of emerging technologies, particularly AI systems, and innovations in legal pedagogy. Humble participates in the Business, Human Rights and Environment (BHRE) research group and Law, Emerging Technologies and Science (LETS) research group. He has received multiple nominations for Teaching Excellence awards at Greenwich between 2016-2021.
