Kristian Helmerson

Kristian Helmerson is a Professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy at Monash University. His research focuses on ultracold atomic gases, biophysics, and biotechnology, with a strong emphasis on leveraging optical techniques such as laser-based optical forces. Key areas include superfluidity in disordered or reduced-dimension systems, quantum turbulence, and biomolecular studies using optical methods.
