Kristi L. Allgood

Dr. Kristi L. Allgood is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics at Texas A&M University. Her research focuses on social epidemiology, health policy, and legal epidemiology, particularly examining how structural racism and policies contribute to health disparities. She has extensive field experience in Chicago, working on initiatives addressing breast cancer, HIV, and hepatitis C through community health worker programs. Her recent work includes studies on rural-urban disparities during the pandemic, social vulnerability, and the Flint Water Crisis's impact on infant health.
